Emma Fox is a Journalism major and Chicano/Latino Studies minor at Loyola Marymount University who graduated a semester early in Dec. 2023. In May of 2024, the university awarded her the honor of “Journalist of the Year.” She is interested in cultural awareness and contemporary issues. She stays well-informed and excels in a collaborative environment. Fox is extremely self-motivated and reliable in delivering on challenging tasks. She is imaginative and produces innovative work with a sense of purpose.
She was the president and founder of her school’s chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists and the president of the Society of Professional Journalists.
Fox is also a music fanatic who loves writing about its context and unifying power. She is dedicated to discovering overlooked stories and finding creative ways to tell them, whether that means unique storytelling tactics or the usage of different journalistic mediums.
